Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Avon Barksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Maure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barksdale comes to the cage accompanied by Three Six Mafia - Its A Fight . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Maure. Those never looked like landing.
Maure takes one on the button.
Barksdale looks to score with a jab to the body but Maure is just out of range.
Barksdale keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Maure dives in and grabs Barksdale's left leg, looking for a takedown. Barksdale pushes down on Maure's head and hops out.
Barksdale blocks a head kick by Maure.
Barksdale throwing a counter right hand but Maure manages to avoid it.
Maure gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Maure looks to throw the jab but Barksdale is out of range.
Maure takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Dan Maure has been cut.
A decent looking cross lands there for Barksdale.
Barksdale misses with a head kick.
Barksdale dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Barksdale thuds his right hand into Maure's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barksdale lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Maure is rocked!
Maure misses with the combination.
Maure is still on wobbly legs! Can Barksdale finish him?
Maure shoots in for a takedown but Barksdale shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Maure looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Whack! Barksdale lands a heavy head kick that drops Maure. The ref tackles Barksdale to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Maure was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Avon Barksdale!
A pretty intense looking Avon Barksdale took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
