Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Riley Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Delarosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Riley Woods!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrew Delarosa!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Delarosa instigates a clinch.
Woods is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Delarosa is keeping busy.

Delarosa closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Woods quickly recovers to half guard.
Woods won't allow Delarosa to pass to mount.
Delarosa is trying to control the action in half guard but Woods is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Woods could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Delarosa is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Woods has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Woods!

Woods is looking to work some ground and pound but Delarosa has wrist control.

Delarosa lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Delarosa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Delarosa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Woods pulls Delarosa in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Woods tries to sprawl but Delarosa drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Woods tries to land knees in the clinch but Delarosa avoids the damage to the body.
Delarosa pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Delarosa has Woods pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Delarosa pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Woods tumbling to the mat - Delarosa dives into Woods's guard.
