Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Popo Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Domino Jachas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jachas's choice of entrance music: The Nycer - Freaky. Popo Jones had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Domino Jachas!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Peter Branson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jones stands and steps away. Jachas gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Jachas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Jones shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jachas defends it nicely.

Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jachas tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Jachas's guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Jachas manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
