The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McEnroe throws a series of punches but Seraphim avoids them all with ease.
Seraphim goes for a double leg but McEnroe avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McEnroe continues to drive forward.

Seraphim fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. McEnroe sprawls well initially but Seraphim persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Seraphim tries to lock up and control but McEnroe gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

McEnroe is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Seraphim can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
McEnroe is looking to stand but Seraphim has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.

Seraphim is looking to improve his position but McEnroe isn't that keen on the idea.

Seraphim shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The crowd cheers as McEnroe lands an impressive looking overhand right. Seraphim doesn't seem phased though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
