The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vincent fails with the takedown
and Madge counters with a head kick.

Madge gets a clinch.
Madge lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Vincent tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Vincent is trying to pull guard but Madge has him pressed against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Porter Vincent. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Madge's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Madge rushes Vincent and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Madge works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Madge throws a head kick that Vincent semi-blocks.

Madge has taken the fight to the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Madge breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Madge tries to bum rush Vincent with a series of wild strikes but Vincent uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Vincent blocks a head kick by Madge.
Madge lands a head kick!
Madge throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Vincent is rocked!

Madge moves into the clinch.
Oh Vincent is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Madge lands an uppercut.
Madge creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Vincent with a big uppercut! Vincent tries to clinch up but Madge pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Vincent to the mat! Vincent covers up and Madge unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
