Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lars Thunstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willie Bader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thunstrom comes to the cage accompanied by Prodigy - Spitfire. Willie Bader will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunstrom is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bader.
Bader avoids the body shot from Thunstrom.
Bader fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bader delivers a nice body kick.
Good exchange - Thunstrom coming out on top.
Thunstrom throws a head kick but Bader moves out of range.
Bader lands the left hand.
Thunstrom throws a shot to the body.
Bader scores with a nice body kick.
Bader misses with a few strikes there.
A counter left hand to the body from Thunstrom misses its target.
Thunstrom throws a hook but Bader blocks it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thunstrom. Bader does a little dance to reset his feet.

Thunstrom closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bader's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bader is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Thunstrom stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bader swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bader wants to stand and escape but Thunstrom is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bader steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thunstrom.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Thunstrom throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bader unleashes a big counter combination but Thunstrom bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Bader misses with a two punch combination.
We've been hearing reports that Thunstrom has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Thunstrom. Bader does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bader throws a right hand that Thunstrom ducks under and follows up with a left that Thunstrom also avoids with ease.
Thunstrom swings for the body but Bader moves out of range.
Bader looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Thunstrom misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bader.
Thunstrom ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bader moves away.
Thunstrom takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Bader looks to land a right hand but Thunstrom moved out of range.
Thunstrom cracks Bader with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A combination from Bader does no damage.

Thunstrom shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Bader pushes Thunstrom off but Thunstrom dives into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thunstrom is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bader is trying to escape and Thunstrom transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bader is forced to tap! Nice work there by Thunstrom! Very nice indeed!
