The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Illiadis on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Al throws a low kick but Illiadis avoids it.

Al stalks Illiadis and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Illiadis's face. Illiadis staggers backwards, shaken.
Illiadis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Al.
Al lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Illiadis circles away quickly and effectively.
Al works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Chocolate Al seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
