The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sever closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Louis did well to prevent Sever getting side control.

Louis tries to kick Sever off but Sever keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Louis stuffs the takedown attempt from Sever. Sever gets slowly back to his feet.
Sever shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Louis counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Sever off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Louis follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Sever was out before he hit the floor.
