Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scrappy Dew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez has chosen Spanish guitar as his entrance music. Raul Rodriguez has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Scrappy Dew's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dew paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nice uppercut lands for Rodriguez. That snapped Dew's head back.

Dew looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rodriguez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dew is working away from the top position though.

Dew works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Rodriguez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dew.

Dew feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Dew rushes Rodriguez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Dew has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Rodriguez is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dew yanks on the arm and Rodriguez is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dew.

A less than humble Scrappy Dew misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
