Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Monty Ali!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, LeBron James!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali throws the left hand but James avoids the punch easily.
James has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ali is landing a low percentage of strikes.
James lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Monty Ali has been cut.
Ali throws a big shot that misses.
Ali lands with a straight right. James didn't see that one coming.
Ali avoids the head kick by James.
James throws an off balance right hand
and Ali counters with a stiff right hand.
Nice shot by Ali.
James clobbers Ali with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
James throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Ali counters with a straight right hand.
James lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ali keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Ali throws a jab but it's blocked by James.
Ali's corner calls for a 1-2. Ali obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ali lands a lovely overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ali moves out of range of the body kick.
Ali takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ali misses with a straight left.
Ali swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ali will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
James misses with an uppercut. Ali saw that one coming.
Ali uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before James has time to react.
Ali is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ali crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from James - the referee stops the clock and Ali gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says James. Ali manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

James throws a head kick that misses.
Ali went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

James throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

The fighters circle momentarily. James darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
James throws a sloppy head kick and Ali moves out of range easily.
We've been told by Ali's head coaches at The Ultimate Fight House that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
James moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
James throws a leg kick but Ali checks it.
Jab, jab by Ali - just one landing.
James slips under a jab from Ali.
James takes a swing at Ali's ribcage but misses.
A jab from Ali misses.
James wants to counter with a clinch but Ali pushes him away.
Ali checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
James takes a jab right on the kisser.
Ali is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Ali connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Ali sends James crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ali is motioning to the referee to let James up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
James is rocked!
James throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ali stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ali dips to his left and cracks James with an uppercut!
A big right from Ali misses.
James throws a head kick that misses.
Ali looks to land a left hand but James moved out of range nicely.
James finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A head kick lands from James that sends Ali to the canvas. Ali tries to scramble back to his feet but James brings him back down into side control.
Ali is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
James happy to just control the position for now.
Oh Ali is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big shot lands for James! That's hurt Ali! Will he recover? James fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). LeBron James!
A very excited looking LeBron James made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
