Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Dauden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves throws a series of punches but Dauden avoids them all with ease.
Dauden avoids the body shot from Alves.
Alves swinging wildly here.
Alves tries to bum rush Dauden with a series of wild strikes but Dauden uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
No joy there for Alves, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dauden! But no joy.
Dauden throws a head kick that Alves semi-blocks.

Dauden drives through with a takedown into Alves's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Dauden wants to get up but he can't break Alves's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Alves rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dauden moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Dauden throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alves was covering up waiting for the punch and Dauden finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Alves is working an open guard so Dauden takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Dauden shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Alves eats them both and turns towards Dauden to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Dauden pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dauden bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Alves's head backwards.

Dauden is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Alves knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dauden on the ground.
Let's hope that Dauden has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dauden works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Dauden shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Alves manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dauden tries to stand but Alves is controlling from the bottom.

Ryan Dauden comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dauden has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
