The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akuapehuale swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Hazzard tries to counter with a takedown but Akuapehuale is quick to defend against it.
Akuapehuale lands a nice hook to Hazzard's body. Hazzard takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Akuapehuale has taken the fight to the clinch.

Hazzard has Akuapehuale pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Akuapehuale manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Akuapehuale lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Hazzard backwards.
