The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lung shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Silva has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Silva shoots in for a takedown but Lung shows good takedown defense.

Lung creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Silva sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Lung has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Silva is on him like a limpet, forcing Lung back against the cage.

Lung has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Silva has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Silva has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lung clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Silva's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
