The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pegas swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Munchkin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
The crowd cheers as Munchkin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pegas doesn't seem phased though.

Munchkin drops down looking for a counter takedown but Pegas sprawls and moves away.

and Pegas makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Pegas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Munchkin was well out of range. Poor timing from Pegas.
Munchkin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pegas counters with a body kick.
Pegas throws a looping overhand right but Munchkin ducks down to avoid it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Munchkin.
Munchkin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Munchkin fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Munchkin lands a body punch in the clinch.
Munchkin is trying to push Pegas away but Pegas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Munchkin throws a punch but it's blocked by Pegas.
Pegas gets through Munchkin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Munchkin's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Pegas pushes off an throws an elbow but Munchkin leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pegas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Pegas wanted to stand there but Munchkin had control of the position.

Munchkin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pegas manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pegas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pegas throws out a loose jab but Munchkin uses good head movement to avoid it.

We've been told by Munchkin's head coaches at Sanitarium that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Pegas let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Munchkin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pegas sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Munchkin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pegas as he avoids it easily.
Pegas uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Munchkin.

Pegas lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pegas lands a big uppercut and Munchkin crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Munchkin looks OK. Pegas waves Munchkin back to his feet!

Pegas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
BOOM! Pegas lands a beautiful left hook that drops Munchkin. Munchkin tries to recover but Pegas is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Munchkin lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Pegas!
