Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shingo Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Rihanna - So Hard. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Tim Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shingo Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Adams lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tanaka doesn't seem phased though.
Adams fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tanaka flicks out a counter leg kick but Adams steps away.
Adams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tanaka counters with a three punch combo that has Adams backing up. Adams nods at Tanaka to acknowledge the strikes.
Tanaka slips a jab and a cross from Adams.
Adams chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tanaka can pounce on him.
Adams walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Tanaka checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Tanaka feints a counter leg kick.
Tanaka dodges the punch combination from Adams.
Tanaka has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Adams tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Adams throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Adams misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tanaka follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Adams tries to bum rush Tanaka with a series of wild strikes but Tanaka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tanaka closes the distance and pushes Adams back into the cage.
Adams is trying to break the clinch but Tanaka has him pressed against the cage.

Tanaka's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Adams tries to break the clinch but Tanaka is controlling the position.
Adams is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Tanaka is keeping busy.

Adams closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tanaka to the mat! Tanaka manages to get full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tim Adams will probably get the nod.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tim Adams overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

I would just about give that final round to Shingo Tanaka.
