The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feikens takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kartes is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Feikens drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kartes defends it well.

Kartes has taken the fight to the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Kartes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kartes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Feikens swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Feikens closes the distance and pushes Kartes back into the cage.
Kartes has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Feikens after a bit of a struggle.
Feikens goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kartes prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kartes jumps guard and drags Feikens to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Kartes lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Feikens looking for subs off his back but Kartes has passed one foot through into half guard.

Kartes slows the pace down in half guard.
Kartes thows a huge punch but Feikens dodges it nicely.

Kartes is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Feikens has managed to free his arm - good work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kartes frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Kartes looking to secure an arm triangle but Feikens defends it well.
Feikens is wriggling around trying to escape.

Feikens is trying to reverse the position but instead Kartes has taken his back - oops!
Feikens is trying to get back to his feet but Kartes has full control of the position and if anything, Feikens has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Feikens is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kartes is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Kartes throwing wild punches that miss their target.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Kartes controlling well, preventing Feikens from escaping the position.

Feikens is trying to roll into a better position but Kartes has get a rear naked choke and Feikens is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
