PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Boreste Bardanos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Berus Lihi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bardanos might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to My Kingdom Will Come. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Berus Lihi!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lihi throws out a leg kick but Bardanos moves out of range and Lihi only half commits.
Lihi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Lihi takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lihi lands a two punch combo.
Lihi fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bardanos checks it well.
Lihi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bardanos takes a swing at Lihi's ribcage but misses.
Lihi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Lihi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bardanos.
Lihi pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bardanos is out of range and Lihi settles back down.
Lihi throws a series of punches but Bardanos avoids them all with ease.

Lihi flicks out a counter leg kick but Bardanos steps away.
Lihi misses with a low kick.
Lihi tries to work over Bardanos's front leg with a kick but Bardanos checks it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bardanos wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bardanos blocks a leg kick.
Bardanos is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Bardanos and Lihi goes tumbling to the canvas! Bardanos follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Lihi is rocked!
Lihi pushes Bardanos off looking to stand but Bardanos dives back in and keeps control.
Lihi is still in real trouble! Can Bardanos finish him?
Lihi tries to roll over but Bardanos keeps him under control.
Lihi is in trouble now - Bardanos has advanced to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bardanos postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lihi looks a forlorn figure.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bardanos is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Lihi has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Lihi tries to hold on but Bardanos pushes him away.
Bardanos is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lihi can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Lihi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bardanos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bardanos connects with a bit shot that sees Lihi covering up! More strikes from Bardanos and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Bardanos is our winner by TKO!
