The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Amin shoots in for a takedown but Itami shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Itami throws out a counter right but Amin avoids it with no problem.
Amin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Itami.

Itami shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Itami looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Amin is trying to control but can't.

Amin tries to roll over but Itami keeps him under control.

Itami is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Amin is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

In his post fight interview, Hideo Itami started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
