Pourramenazanali comes to the cage accompanied by Godsmack - Cryin' Like A Bitch!!. Sonni has chosen Chica as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonni attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Pourramenazanali throws an overhand right that lands on Sonni's shoulder, as Sonni tries to avoid the shot.
Pourramenazanali stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sonni feints and then cracks Pourramenazanali's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pourramenazanali down.
Sonni misses with a leg kick.

As Sonni looks to move away, Pourramenazanali throws a big counter combo bu Sonni just gets out of the way.
Sonni drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Pourramenazanali lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Sonni has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Sonni and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Sonni fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Pourramenazanali has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Sonni moves away from the strike by Pourramenazanali.
That kick from Sonni tenderised Pourramenazanali's leg. Pourramenazanali is trying to keep his angry face on.
Pourramenazanali scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sonni in his tracks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pourramenazanali just misses with a punch to the body.

and Sonni counters with a nice low kick that buckles Pourramenazanali's knee momentarily.
Sonni throws a leg kick but Pourramenazanali sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Sonni is trying to break the clinch but Pourramenazanali has him pressed against the cage.
The referee calls for Sonni to work.

Pourramenazanali gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pourramenazanali postures up in Sonni's guard and throws a big left but Sonni blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sonni looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Pourramenazanali is defending well. Sonni quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Pourramenazanali has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Sonni celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
