Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Amado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Goldman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aldo Amado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Goldman!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Goldman misses.
Amado misses with a low kick as Goldman jumps back.

and Goldman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Amado won't be happy with that.

Goldman swings around for an armbar but Amado sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Goldman's guard.

We've been told by Amado's head coaches at 11th Planet MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Aldo Amado has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Goldman.
Amado fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Goldman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Amado escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Goldman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


Goldman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Amado's waist but Amado gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Goldman off to one side.
Amado is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Goldman's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
