Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Hashimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hashimoto's entrance music is Holding Out For A Hero (Japanese Version). A fine choice. Ramirez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Night Prowler -by- AC/DC. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 48 - 21 - 4, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keiji Hashimoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricardo Ramirez!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramirez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hashimoto.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ramirez. That's going to slow Hashimoto down.
Hashimoto chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ramirez can pounce on him.
Ramirez cracks Hashimoto with a right hand to the side of the head.
Hashimoto misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ramirez.
Hashimoto slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Hashimoto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hashimoto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Keiji Hashimoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hashimoto looks up at the clock and then as Ramirez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hashimoto smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Hashimoto misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Ramirez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hashimoto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ramirez as he avoids it easily.
Ramirez was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Hashimoto escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ramirez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ramirez is working Hashimoto over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hashimoto seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Keiji Hashimoto is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Ramirez throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Hashimoto doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
