Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seppo Hanska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts comes into the arena with RUN DMC - Down With The King blaring out of the sound system. Hanska has chosen Rytmihäiriö - Pakko Tappaa Ihminen as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Roberts with that takedown attempt.
Roberts shoots for a takedown but Hanska saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hanska throws a left that rocks Roberts and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Hanska dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Roberts regain composure!

Roberts had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hanska is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Roberts Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hanska's back instead.

Roberts looking to break Hanska's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hanska remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Roberts will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
I really don't envy Hanska right now.

Hanska is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Roberts gets his way!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hanska can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hanska really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roberts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
