Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Snider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DK Brast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ted Snider!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, DK Brast!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brast misses with a takedown attempt - Snider sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Brast throws a head kick that misses.
Snider throws a big counter combination but Brast scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Snider looks for the body kick but Brast saw that one coming.
Brast fails with the takedown
and Snider counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Brast tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Snider was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
DK Brast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brast gets a double leg takedown into Snider's guard.
Snider wants to sweep but no luck.

Brast drops back looking for a leg! Snider is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Snider manages to kick Brast off! Brast jumps back into Snider's guard.
Snider is looking to stand up but Brast isn't so interested in that idea.

Brast engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Brast is looking to stand up but Snider won't let him.
Brast controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Snider looking to control but Brast passes into half guard.
Snider wants to improve his position but Brast is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brast lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Snider looks like he's trying to stand up.
Brast controlling the action here.
Snider is looking to improve his position.
Brast keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Brast is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Snider fails with an attempt to clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brast is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
It looks like Brast might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Snider appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Brast closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brast lands in his opponent's guard.

Snider might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Snider bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brast's guard.


Snider postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Brast is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Snider, into his guard.

Brast is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Snider wants to control the position but Brast says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Still in half guard, Brast seems content to control.
Brast scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Snider tries to kick Brast off in order to stand up. Brast Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Snider wants to get back to his feet.
Brast creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Brast scoring with punches and elbows.
DK Brast has got the better of the ground game so far.
Snider being controlled for a moment.
Brast has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Brast looking to control and managing it successfully.

Brast is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Snider can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Brast scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Snider is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Brast content just to control the position here.

DK Brast showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Snider.
Brast fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Snider as Brast shoots in.
Snider scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Snider enables Brast to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Snider manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Snider has his foot on Brast's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brast works his way back into a safe position though.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Snider throws a series of punches but Brast moves out of range.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Brast tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Snider defends well and Brast ends up having to push Snider into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ted Snider has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DK Brast.

Brast takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Brast takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Brast is trying to break the clinch but Snider has him pressed against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Brast fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Snider looking to stall.
Snider misses with a hook to the ribs.

Brast pulls guard effortlessly.

Brast throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Snider has gone for a leg lock! Brast slips out almost immediately though and dives into Snider's guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ted Snider.
I think Brast has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
