And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bertjens lands with a shot to the body.
Bertjens jabs Mcbride right on the nose. Mcbride blinks but takes it well.
Bertjens scores with a punch to the head.
Mcbride moves to clinch but Bertjens breaks away
and Bertjens counters with a left to the body.
Mcbride tries to bum rush Bertjens with a series of wild strikes but Bertjens uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mcbride drops his hands momentarily and Bertjens takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Mcbride is rocked!
Bertjens dances in with a quick combination. Mcbride is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Bertjens snaps Mcbride's head back. Mcbride stumbles backwards against the cage. Bertjens steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Mcbride's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Mcbride just didn't come prepared.
