Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DanogKo MatayKa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jayson Ramirez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, DanogKo MatayKa!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for MatayKa with that takedown attempt.
MatayKa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
MatayKa closes the distance and clinches up with Ramirez, looking for a takedown. MatayKa pushes Ramirez against the cage but Ramirez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A counter left hand to the body from Ramirez misses its target.
Ramirez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from MatayKa.
Ramirez is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from MatayKa.

MatayKa shoots in for a double leg but Ramirez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

MatayKa forces Ramirez back against the cage and clinches.
MatayKa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ramirez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Ramirez lands a takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ramirez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ramirez, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
