Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Akichi Baki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lesnar Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Akichi Baki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lesnar Frost!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Frost wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Frost changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Baki fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Baki throws a head kick that misses.
Frost fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Baki closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Frost did well to prevent Baki getting side control.

Frost manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Baki clinches.

Frost pulls guard successfully.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Frost wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Frost is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


That's one minute gone in the round.
Frost perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Frost is looking for a kimura but Baki is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Frost to get the leverage.
Frost trying to control the pace.
Let's hope that Frost has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Frost looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frost takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Baki looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
It looks like Frost might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Frost stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Frost closes the distance and clinches.
Frost lands an uppercut.
Baki takes a knee to the side of the body.
Baki tries to break free but Frost pushes him back against the cage.
Baki is trying to push Frost away but Frost has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Frost is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Baki is defending well.
Akichi Baki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lesnar Frost.

Frost jumps guard and drags Baki to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Frost bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Baki's guard.

Baki being controlled here, momentarily.

Frost landing some decent shots from guard.
Frost looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Baki might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lesnar Frost dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Baki takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Frost swats away the attempt to clinch by Baki.

Baki clinches up with Frost and pushes him back against the cage.
Frost trying to stall but Baki improves his position.
Baki tries to pull guard but Frost holds him up against the cage and eventually Baki drops back down to his feet.
A bit of stalling here from Baki.
Baki is looking to control Frost's arms but Frost gets an underhook and turns him. Now Baki has his back to the cage.
Baki keeps control of Frost as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baki comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Frost breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A nice combination there by Frost.
Baki misses with a head kick.

Frost moves into the clinch.

Baki lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Frost has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Baki after a bit of a struggle.

Frost manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Frost not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Frost pulls Baki in close to prevent any damage.
Baki wanted to stand there but Frost had control of the position.

Frost escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Baki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Frost is on top in guard.

Baki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Frost on the ground.

Frost's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Frost stopping the sweep attempt from Baki.
Frost looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Frost thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Frost gets to his feet - Baki follows without any prompting.
Baki shoots for a double leg takedown but Frost sprawls well. He's pushed Baki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Frost shoots in looking for a takedown but Baki manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Frost's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Baki was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Baki darts in looking for a takedown but Frost gets double underhooks and turns Baki into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Akichi Baki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Frost throws a nice head kick!
Frost comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Baki is looking to clinch but Frost is avoiding it.
Baki displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Frost.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Baki.

Baki creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Frost's defenses.
Frost misses with a hook to the ribs.
Frost wants to break the clinch but can't.

Baki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Baki tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Frost counters with a nice uppercut.
Akichi Baki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frost swats away the attempt to clinch by Baki.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Baki throws a head kick that misses.
Baki tries to clinch up.
Frost tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Baki defends well and Frost ends up having to push Baki into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Baki throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lesnar Frost showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Frost shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baki as he jumps to the side.

Frost will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Frost has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Baki tries to pull guard but Frost won't allow it.
Baki misses with a knee to the head.
Frost blocks a body shot from Baki.
Baki is pressed up against the cage. Frost has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Baki down to the mat. Baki avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Baki tries to clinch but Frost is having none of it.

Baki keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Baki throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Frost blocks it with crossed arms.

Baki wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Baki just misses with a elbow thrown towards Frost's brow.
Baki throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Akichi Baki has scored more points in the clinch so far.

Frost successfully pulls guard.
Frost wants to stand and escape but Baki is having none of it.
Frost wants to sweep but no luck.
Frost bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Baki's guard.

Frost is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Frost's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Baki looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lesnar Frost is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Baki can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Frost controls the pace.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Lesnar Frost.
I've got Frost winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
