Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caiman Hendrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cassio Bruno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bruno closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bruno wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Hendrix has him pressed against the cage.

Hendrix has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bruno clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Hendrix has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hendrix is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Hendrix gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Hendrix gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Hendrix apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Hendrix is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Hendrix tries to score with some ground and pound. Bruno controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Hendrix misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Bruno avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Hendrix.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hendrix is working to tighten his grip on Bruno's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bruno has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hendrix is really squeezing tight and eventually Bruno passes out! Hendrix breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
