The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jotko moves into the clinch.
Jotko just leaning against Broad, taking a breather.
Jotko misses with an elbow over the top.
Broad drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jotko gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jotko tries to land knees in the clinch but Broad avoids the damage to the body.
Broad misses with a hook to the ribs.

Jotko jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Broad walks away with a smile on his face. Jotko gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Broad tries to pull guard but Jotko won't allow it.

Jotko is fighting to break Broad's control of his arms but Broad is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Broad is on top in guard.

Jotko throws his legs up looking for a submission but Broad uses it to pass to side control.

Broad swings around for an armbar but Jotko sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Broad's guard.

Broad escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jotko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jotko controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Jotko drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Broad dives on top into guard.

Jotko has control of Broad's left arm, preventing Broad from doing any damage.

Jotko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Broad gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jotko throws his legs up looking for a submission but Broad uses it to pass to side control.
Jotko is trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jotko manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Jotko is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Broad defends it well.

A close round but Krzysztof Jotko will probably get the nod.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Broad.
Horrible takedown attempt by Broad or perhaps it was just good defense by Jotko, which made it look bad.
Broad misses with a takedown attempt - Jotko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Jotko is trying to drag Broad to the mat but Broad just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jotko has his foot on Broad's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Broad works his way back into a safe position though.

Jotko has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Broad is on him like a limpet, forcing Jotko back against the cage.

Jotko shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Broad sprawls well. Broad wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jotko gets slowly back to his feet.
