Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brad Dillinger!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillinger is looking to clinch.
Dillinger tries to clinch up.
Kang lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
A punch lands to the side of Kang 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Dillinger doesn't manage to clinch there - Kang circles away.

Dillinger closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kang did well to prevent Dillinger getting side control.
Kang wants to get back to his feet.
Kang on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kang tries to get out of the position.

Dillinger is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kang defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dillinger seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Dillinger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kang but Kang pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dillinger looks for a takedown but Kang sprawls well.

Dillinger throws a sloppy head kick and Kang moves out of range easily.
Dillinger shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

As Dillinger looks to move away, Kang throws a big counter combo bu Dillinger just gets out of the way.
Dillinger shoots in looking for a takedown. Kang tries to sprawl out of it but Dillinger keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dillinger shoots in looking for a takedown but Kang manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dillinger's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kang throws a quick counter kick to the body but Dillinger avoids it.
Kang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dillinger tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kang swivels and escapes.
Kang throws a counter high kick but Dillinger was just alert enough to avoid it.
Dillinger tries to clinch there but Kang circles away.
Kang appears to be looking for a big counter.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nick Kang dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Dillinger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
An attempted straight right counter from Kang misses the target.
Kang displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dillinger.
Dillinger blocks a head kick by Kang.
A countering left hand to the body from Dillinger misses.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dillinger is defended easily by Kang.
Kang is looking for a counter combo.
Nick Kang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Dillinger.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kang ducks under a wild hook from Dillinger.

Kang is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dillinger can do to turn this around?

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kang is trying to stand back up but Dillinger is controlling him

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Donk. Kang catches Dillinger right on the button with a cross.
Kang keeps the fight on the outside.
Kang throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Brad Dillinger has been cut.
Dillinger dives in for a single leg takedown but Kang sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dillinger shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kang defends it nicely.
Dillinger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dillinger blocks a head kick by Kang.
Kang lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

and Kang counters with a perfectly timed head kick, knocking Dillinger out cold! Wow, that took some serious skill and not a little luck! Kang is taking it in his stride though, strolling around like it's no big deal. What a guy.
