Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Pan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Pan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Alexander!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Peter Pan!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Alexander there as he acknowledges the shot.
Alexander shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pan but Pan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pan slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Pan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Alexander darts in looking for a takedown but Pan gets double underhooks and turns Alexander into the cage.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pan! But no joy.
Pan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As Pan looks to move away, Alexander throws a big counter combo bu Pan just gets out of the way.
Alexander takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Alexander takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pan, right into the meat.
Alexander slips under a jab from Pan.
Alexander went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Alexander doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pan misses with a two punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Good leg kick by Pan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Alexander shoots in looking for a takedown. Pan tries to sprawl out of it but Alexander keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Alexander. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pan listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Pan looks to land a combination but Alexander avoids it well.
Alexander throws a head kick that misses.
Alexander moves out of range as Pan strikes.
Alexander seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

It looked like Alexander was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Pan tries to bum rush Alexander with a series of wild strikes but Alexander uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A chopping leg kick lands by Pan.
A big left from Pan misses.

Alexander closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pan's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pan keeping moving, preventing Alexander from controlling successfully.

Alexander trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Alexander trying to control but Pan is working from the bottom.
Alexander pushes down on Pan's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Alexander throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alexander not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Pan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Alexander wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pan keeps working.

Pan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Alexander.

Alexander seems to be working for a kimura but Pan defends the submission attempt.
Alexander trying to control the action but Pan is working from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Alexander shoots in and drives through. Pan sprawls well.
Peter Pan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pan turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nice uppercut there from Pan.
Pan dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Alexander displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pan throws out the jab.
Pan has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Pan missing with a left hand there. Alexander was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Alexander tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pan was well out of range. Poor timing from Alexander.
Alexander avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Alexander scores with a takedown into Pan's guard.
Alexander is looking to work some ground and pound but Pan has wrist control.
Pan wants to stand and escape but Alexander is having none of it.
Pan keeping moving, preventing Alexander from controlling successfully.
Alexander throws an elbow that misses. Pan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Alexander's guard. Nice move by Pan!

Alexander is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Pan dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Pan wants to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Pan misses with a few strikes there.
Paul Alexander is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alexander moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Alexander walks into a stiff left hand from Pan.
Pan with a hook.
Alexander shoots in but no luck this time.
Alexander shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pan sprawls well. Pan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Alexander gets slowly back to his feet.

Pan slaps away a takedown attempt from Alexander, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Alexander looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pan is fending him off so far but Alexander persists. Nope, Pan circles away and we're back to standing.

Alexander seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Alexander slips a jab from Pan.
Alexander chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pan can pounce on him.
Alexander uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pan.
Pan sizes up Alexander with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Pan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Alexander has a takedown stuffed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Alexander throws a body shot but no joy.

Alexander is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pan.

and Pan counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Alexander out cold! What a finish! Pan is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Pan!
A relieved looking Peter Pan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
