Murder connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bammerthwaite momentarily.

and Murder counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Murder has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bammerthwaite takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Murder slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Bammerthwaite is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Murder is surviving well by controlling Bammerthwaite's body position as best he can.

Bammerthwaite is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Murder has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Murder!

Bammerthwaite has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Murder can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Murder drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bammerthwaite dives on top into guard.

Murder manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bammerthwaite manages to get himself to full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Soren Bammerthwaite will probably get the nod.

Murder shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bammerthwaite napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Murder is cranking Bammerthwaite's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Bammerthwaite! He's tightened the choke and Bammerthwaite is tapping out!
