Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elliot Stabler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lil Homie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Elliot Stabler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lil Homie!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Homie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Homie shoots in and drives through. Stabler sprawls well.

Stabler feints and as Homie raises his hands in defense, Stabler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Stabler not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Stabler throwing strikes but missing.

Homie is looking for a triangle but Stabler pushes his legs off easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stabler sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Homie's guard.
Stabler prevents Homie from improving his position.

Stabler seems to be working for a kimura but Homie defends the submission attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in half guard, Stabler seems content to control.
Stabler looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Homie is looking for a sweep. Stabler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Homie is refusing to be controlled, as Stabler sits in half guard.

Stabler is keen to just control but Homie is a slippery customer.
Stabler content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Stabler throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Stabler is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Stabler defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Homie.
Stabler throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stabler throws a hook to the side of Homie's head but Homie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Stabler shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Homie manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Homie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Homie looks winded!
Stabler with a nice head shot there.
Stabler loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Homie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stabler is aware though and is defending well.
Stabler trying to control but Homie is working from the bottom.
Stabler is looking to stand up but Homie won't let him.
We've been informed that Homie has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Homie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stabler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Stabler is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Homie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Stabler waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Homie.
Homie is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Stabler drives through with a takedown into Homie's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Stabler looks to land a right hand but Homie moved out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Stabler misses the target.
Homie has a takedown stuffed.
Homie moves out of range of the strikes.
Homie lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Homie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Stabler leaves Homie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Elliot Stabler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lil Homie.
A telegraphed right hand from Stabler misses the target.
A countering left hand to the body from Homie misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Homie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Stabler tries to counter with a takedown but Homie is quick to defend against it.

Stabler drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Stabler content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Homie is breathing heavily.
Stabler tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Stabler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Homie keeps working.
Homie is looking to regain half guard here but Stabler keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A lull in the action here as Stabler stalls from top position.
Stabler seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Homie for as long as he can get away with.

Stabler wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Homie, who protects the arm well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stabler is looking to take a break and control but Homie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Stabler will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Stabler fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Stabler wants to control but Homie is keeping him busy.
Stabler happy to just control the position for now.
Stabler is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Homie can do to turn this around?
Homie is trying to improve his position.

Stabler working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Homie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stabler is working away from the top position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Stabler swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Homie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stabler.
Stabler is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Homie.
Stabler is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Stabler throws the left hand but Homie avoids the punch easily.
Homie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Stabler throws out the jab.
Homie ducks under a wild hook from Stabler.
Stabler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Homie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Homie shoots in and drives through. Stabler sprawls well.
Stabler is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Homie.
Homie flicks out a counter leg kick but Stabler steps away.

Homie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stabler napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Stabler tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Homie presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Homie moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Stabler.

Homie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Homie wants to control but Stabler is keeping him busy.

Stabler tries to improve position but can't.
Stabler is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Homie tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stabler knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Stabler is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Homie pulls his head out easily.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Lil Homie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Stabler has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
