Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stuart Dew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stuart Dew has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stuart Dew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dew drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dew wants to control but Taylor is keeping him busy.
Dew will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Dew swings around for an armbar but Taylor sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dew's guard.
Taylor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Taylor works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Dew definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dew wants to get back to full guard but Taylor has mounted him!
Taylor avoids the attempt from Dew to control.
Dew is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Taylor looking to control but Dew is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dew can't escape the position.
Dew wants to hold on but Taylor pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dew is squirming around, avoiding Taylor's attempts to control the action.
Dew tries to hold on but Taylor postures up.

Taylor with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Dew is looking to get to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Taylor working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Dew holds of for dear life.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dew wants to hold on but Taylor pushes him away.

Taylor is working for a guillotine from mount but Dew frees his head quite easily.
Taylor throwing strikes here but Dew is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Dew is trying to escape the mount.

Taylor is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dew can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Dew wants to hold on but Taylor pushes him away.
Dew is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Taylor is working for a guillotine from mount but Dew frees his head quite easily.
Taylor is in the full mount, landing strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Taylor stands up from mount. Strange move.

Dew shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Taylor manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dew trying to control but Taylor is working from the bottom.
Dew trying to stand up but can't free himself from Taylor's guard.
Dew trying to control the position from guard on top but Taylor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dew tries to stand but Taylor is controlling from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Taylor shoots in and gets a takedown into Dew's guard.

Dew working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Taylor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Taylor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dew is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Taylor is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Dew is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Taylor pulls his head out easily.

Dew actively working from the bottom here.
Dew wants to control but Taylor passes into side.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Taylor trying to control the position but Dew is working away.

Taylor is trying to get an arm triangle but Dew is defending well.
Dew tries to improve position but can't.

Taylor thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Taylor in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Dew is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
