These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Van Drunen has managed to clinch.
Berry prevents a takedown attempt there.
Berry keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Van Drunen's efforts to push away.
Berry really is a fat lump.
Van Drunen is trying to break the clinch but Berry is controlling him.
Berry is pressed up against the cage. Van Drunen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Berry down to the mat. Berry avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Eryc Van Drunen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Drunen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Berry closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Van Drunen lands a big head kick that sends Berry tumbling to the mat! Van Drunen takes a step backwards and waves Berry back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Berry is rocked!

It looks like Stevie Berry has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Van Drunen moves into range and clinches up with Berry.
Oh Berry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Van Drunen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Van Drunen shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Van Drunen slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Van Drunen lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
