Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Remulus Romus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kojak Komodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Komodo has chosen The Running Dragon as his entrance music. Remulus Romus could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kojak Komodo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kojak Komodo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Romus lands.
Romus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Komodo moves away.
Romus thows a leg kick but Komodo checks it
and Komodo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Romus has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Komodo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Komodo misses with a right hand
and Romus counters with a stiff right hand.
A low kick from Komodo misses
and Romus counters with a one-two to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Komodo or perhaps it was just good defense by Romus, which made it look bad.
A little feinted left hand from Romus on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A chopping leg kick lands by Romus.
Komodo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Romus scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Komodo has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Romus lands a nice leg kick that just misses Komodo's sensitive parts.
Romus throws a head kick but Komodo moves out of range.

Romus moves forwards but Komodo connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kojak Komodo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Komodo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Romus checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Romus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Komodo swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Komodo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Romus at a distance.
Komodo throws a series of punches but Romus moves out of range.
Romus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Komodo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Romus checks a leg kick.

The fighters circling - Komodo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It looked like Romus was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Komodo finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Komodo looks to land a combination but Romus avoids it well.
Nice defenses there by Komodo.
Romus throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Komodo on the side of the head.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Komodo goes for a takedown attempt but Romus pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Romus moves into range and connects with a jab.
Romus takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Romus moves out of range of the body kick.
Romus ducks under a wild hook from Komodo.
Romus swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Romus scores with a nice strike.
Komodo with a poor takedown
enabling Romus to counter with a crisp jab.
Remulus Romus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kojak Komodo.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Kojak Komodo will probably get the nod.

Romus darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


Komodo is rocked!
Romus cracks Komodo with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Komodo tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Romus pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Komodo is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Remulus Romus!
An out of breath Remulus Romus thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
