The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boa moves away.
Boa throws a lazy head kick
and Jacobs counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Boa throws a right hand that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Boa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Jacobs lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Tyson Jacobs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good work by Boa as he checks the leg kick.
Boa fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jacobs manages to avoid it.

Jacobs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jacobs stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jacobs avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Boa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jacobs looks to land a left hand but Boa moved out of range nicely.
Jacobs is looking to chop away at Boa's legs.
Jacobs throws a body kick that misses.
Jacobs swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boa fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jacobs looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Boa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jacobs paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jacobs throws a body punch but Boa moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boa takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jacobs is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Boa rather than just go for the knockout.
A head kick from Jacobs lands but Boa takes it in his stride.
Jacobs tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
As Jacobs backs away, Boa returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

and Boa counters with a single leg into guard. Jacobs didn't expect that.
