Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beach Bum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Gracia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bum lands with a cross.

Gracia moves into the clinch.

Gracia pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A punch combination from Bum misses.
Bum shoots in looking for a takedown but Gracia manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bum's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bum swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Gracia drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bum defends it well.
Gracia moves in looking to clinch but Bum pushes him off.

and Bum connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracia is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bum is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gracia.

Bum is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Bum working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gracia doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gracia manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bum is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Bum is working for an americana but Gracia has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Bum was thinking about the submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bum drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gracia dives on top into guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gracia missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bum manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracia manages to get himself to full guard.

Bum drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Gracia dives on top into guard.

Beach Bum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gracia tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bum manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
