The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanga fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rodriguez half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Hanga manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rodriguez on his heels. He'll look to pass Rodriguez's guard now, I'm sure.
Hanga looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hanga got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rodriguez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hanga has managed to get both his arms back between Rodriguez's legs - danger averted.
Rodriguez is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hanga frees his head nicely. Oh but Rodriguez has switched to an armbar! Hanga is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
