The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sichev closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Kane really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sichev. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kane is defending against the submission attempts here by Sichev.

Sichev is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kane doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sichev.

Sichev is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kane is surviving well by controlling Sichev's body position as best he can.

Sichev has hold of Kane's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kane manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sichev postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Kane bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Sichev and the fight is over!
