Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rock Sampson!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hogan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sampson was covering up waiting for the punch and Hogan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sampson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hogan is working Sampson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hogan with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Hogan trying to control the position from guard on top but Sampson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hogan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sampson's guard.
Hogan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sampson wants to get back to his feet.
Sampson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hogan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sampson is in trouble now - Hogan has advanced to mount!
Hogan scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Sampson?

Sampson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hogan in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
BOOM! Hogan connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Sampson is in a horrible position here. Hogan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Hogan postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Sampson out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Hogan goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). James Hogan!
