Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Casacci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dakker Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Casacci kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Serpente by SUBSONICA. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Kane closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kane looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Casacci is concentrating on defense, preventing Kane from advancing position.
Kane wants to free his trapped foot but Casacci is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Kane seems to be looking for submissions.

Kane pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Casacci is looking to counter the offense by Kane and move into the clinch.
Kane clobbers Casacci with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Kane moves out of range of the strikes.
Casacci scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kane doesn't seem bothered though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Casacci tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Casacci is looking to wear down Kane with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Kane uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Casacci.

And Kane tries to counter it with a takedown but Casacci pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Kane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Casacci manages to avoid it.
Casacci connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Kane lands with a kick to the temple. Casacci shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Casacci takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Dakker Kane has been cut.
Casacci throws a jab but it's blocked by Kane.

and Casacci cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kane takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Kane moves forwards but Casacci connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Kane is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Casacci drops Kane with a naaaaasty hook - Kane is in real trouble here! Casacci dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
