The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trejo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Connen throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Trejo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Connen is in Trejo's guard.
Trejo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Connen is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Connen controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Trejo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Trejo has his hands on Connen's head, controlling the position.

Trejo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Connen doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Trejo is tightening it up a little... Connen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Connen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Connen taps out! Nice BJJ there by Trejo!
