Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Chimaera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and L Manning Vines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chimaera comes to the cage accompanied by The Vikings warrior spirit. L Manning Vines has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimaera fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Chimaera.
Chimaera displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Vines.
Chimaera throws a quick counter head kick but Vines was just out of range.
Chimaera is looking to slow Vines down with leg kicks.
Chimaera ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vines moves away.
Vines feints the counter takedown.
Chimaera takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Chimaera uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Vines.
Vines throws a half hearted mid kick.

Chimaera quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Vines looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chimaera is fending him off so far but Vines persists. Nope, Chimaera circles away and we're back to standing.

The Chimaera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vines shoots in and drives through. Chimaera sprawls well.
The Chimaera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of L Manning Vines.

Vines tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chimaera sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Vines somewhat.

Chimaera comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

and Chimaera counters with a low kick, right behind Vines 's knee.

Chimaera fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vines has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Chimaera lets loose with a powerful body kick. Vines will feel that in the morning.

Vines looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Chimaera dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vines. That did some damage!

Chimaera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Chimaera lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Vines ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chimaera moves away.

L Manning Vines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chimaera throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

A nice inside leg kick there by Chimaera. That's going to slow Vines down.

Vines dives in for a single leg takedown but Chimaera sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Vines on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Vines swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Chimaera looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Vines's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Chimaera bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

and Chimaera counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Chimaera is looking to slow Vines down with leg kicks.
Chimaera feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Vines's calf.
Chimaera looks to score with a jab to the body but Vines is just out of range.
Vines tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Vines throws a hook but Chimaera blocks it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Chimaera is looking to wear down Vines with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Vines lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

and Chimaera counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Chimaera fakes the leg kick and cracks Vines in the body.

Vines drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Chimaera defends it well.
Chimaera is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Vines can do to turn this around?

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Vines might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Chimaera has got the better of the exchanges.

Chimaera's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Vines looking to control but Chimaera is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Vines is cranking Chimaera's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Chimaera! He's tightened the choke and Chimaera is tapping out!
