Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trip Kenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and lamo decripprio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
decripprio fails with the takedown.

decripprio drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
decripprio wants to take a breather but Kenzie manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for decripprio.

decripprio decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Kenzie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kenzie passes to full mount!
Kenzie controlling the position easily from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
decripprio is desperately trying to improve his position but Kenzie has a good base and remains in mount.
Kenzie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
decripprio is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Kenzie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, decripprio has managed to escape the submission attempt.
decripprio is just holding on here. Kenzie manages to take his back.

Kenzie is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. decripprio has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kenzie has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! decripprio taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kenzie doesn't care though - he's delighted!
