Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quincey Ferguson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juul Hupperts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juul Hupperts is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Quincey Ferguson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juul Hupperts!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hupperts takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hupperts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hupperts tries to clinch but Ferguson moves out of range.
It looked like Ferguson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Ferguson is looking to score with low kicks.
Hupperts swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Ferguson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hupperts's head.
Hupperts doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ferguson counters with a leg kick.
Hupperts takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hupperts goes for a double leg but Ferguson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ferguson continues to drive forward.

Ferguson is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Unicorn Powered Fighting, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ferguson wants to get back to his feet.
Ferguson is looking for a sweep. Hupperts is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hupperts is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ferguson!
Hupperts trying to control but Ferguson is having none of it.
Hupperts is landing with some decent strikes but Ferguson is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Hupperts is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Ferguson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Ferguson!

Hupperts can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ferguson controls the pace.

Hupperts pulls Ferguson in close to his closed guard and prevents Ferguson from doing any damage or advancing position.

Hupperts bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ferguson's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hupperts or perhaps it was just good defense by Ferguson, which made it look bad.

Hupperts shoots in looking for a takedown but Ferguson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hupperts's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hupperts checks a leg kick.
Hupperts throws out a counter right but Ferguson avoids it with no problem.
Ferguson lands a really nice looking cross but Hupperts seems unphased.

Ferguson jabs Hupperts to the body, keeping him at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hupperts closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hupperts is stalling here. Ferguson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hupperts seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ferguson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
You can see the frustration on Hupperts's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hupperts's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

It looked like Ferguson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
