Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Jason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenn Togi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steven Jason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lenn Togi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jason shoots for a double leg takedown but Togi sprawls well. He's pushed Jason's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jason shoots and misses

and Togi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Togi.
Jason is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Togi is keeping busy.

Jason breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jason closes the distance and pushes Togi back into the cage.

Togi gets control of Jason's arms and successfully pulls guard. Togi will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Jason drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Togi dives on top into guard.

Togi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Togi wants to get up but he can't break Jason's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jason could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Togi dives in and scores a takedown into Jason's guard.
Togi has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jason is proving hard to escape from.

Togi is looking to pass into half guard but Jason pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Jason is in guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Jason looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Togi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jason wants to stand but Togi has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Togi's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Togi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jason pulls his leg out and moves away.

Jason postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jason shoots in for a takedown but Togi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Togi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jason but Jason pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A close second round but Lenn Togi will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Jason shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Togi pinned against the cage. Togi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Jason throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Togi's waist but Togi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jason off to one side.

Jason is in close to Togi's body, working some short punches and elbows.
