Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bass Rotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piipapadapum Papapadapum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rotten comes to the cage accompanied by Nothing Else Matters. Papapadapum has chosen iam scatman as his entrance music. Bass Rotten has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Rotten - just one landing.
Rotten throws a one two combo.
Rotten looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Papapadapum is looking to clinch but Rotten is avoiding it.
Papapadapum closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rotten lands a nice hook to Papapadapum's body. Papapadapum takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Papapadapum misses the shot to the body.
Papapadapum dives in and grabs Rotten's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rotten pushes down on Papapadapum's head and hops out.

Rotten feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Rotten postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Papapadapum is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rotten, into his guard.

Papapadapum got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rotten has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Papapadapum has managed to get both his arms back between Rotten's legs - danger averted.

Rotten stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Papapadapum swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rotten throws a strike but Papapadapum rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Rotten is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
