PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Harmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Hekickshin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mr Hekickshin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harmon tries to clinch up but Hekickshin circles away and keeps his distance.
Hekickshin throws a fast counter high kick but Harmon manages to duck under it in time.
Hekickshin shoots in for a takedown but Harmon shows good takedown defense.
Hekickshin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Harmon's waist but Harmon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hekickshin off to one side.

Hekickshin winds up and cracks Harmon with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Harmon is staying active underneath Hekickshin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Harmon is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hekickshin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hekickshin's back!

Harmon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
