The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayer keeps the fight on the outside.
Mammoth avoids a kick to the body.
Mammoth is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Mammoth gets a takedown into half guard.
Mammoth is looking to take a break and control but Mayer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mayer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mammoth is working away from the top position though.

It looks like Santos Mayer has been cut.
Mammoth is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Mayer like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Mayer from another fist facial!
