Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Leland Stokes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Donald Peparoni!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Stokes.
A combination from Peparoni does no damage.
Stokes fails with the takedown.
Stokes tries to bum rush Peparoni with a series of wild strikes but Peparoni uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Peparoni is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Stokes drives through and clinches with Peparoni against the cage.

Peparoni has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stokes uses from the top position.
Stokes trying to move into half guard but instead Peparoni has managed to sweep!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Peparoni trying to mount his opponent but Stokes defends it.
Peparoni is trying to control. Stokes wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Peparoni is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stokes sees it coming and defends easily.
Peparoni passes the guard and advances to mount!

Peparoni looking to control but Stokes is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Stokes wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Peparoni.
Peparoni looking to ground and pound but Stokes is blocking nicely.
Peparoni raining down hammerfists from mount.
Peparoni sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Peparoni moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Stokes has worked his arm free - good work by Stokes!

Stokes is looking for a sweep.
Peparoni advances to full mount.
Stokes is squirming around, avoiding Peparoni's attempts to control the action.

Peparoni jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Stokes is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Stokes and Peparoni has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Peparoni wants to stand but Stokes is controlling his arm.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donald Peparoni dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Stokes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Peparoni stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stokes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Peparoni wants to control from the top but Stokes keeps moving.
Peparoni passes Stokes's left leg - he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Peparoni is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stokes is just riding it out for now. Peparoni eventually gives up the hold.
Donald Peparoni has got the better of the ground game so far.
Peparoni is looking to advance position but Stokes won't allow it.

Stokes is staying active underneath Peparoni, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Peparoni throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Peparoni trying to pass the guard but Stokes defending well.
Peparoni seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Peparoni missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Peparoni throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Peparoni trying to control the action but Stokes is working from the bottom.
Stokes avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Peparoni.
Stokes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stokes keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Stokes wants to control the action here but instead Peparoni manages to pass to full mount!

Stokes has left one of his arms exposed and Peparoni doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Stokes screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Donald Peparoni!
Donald Peparoni spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
